Marked hiking trails in Russia.
Role: Lead Developer, UI designer.
Challenges: showing many trails on one map (progressive track loading was implemented).
The website has a map with marked trails.
Marked trails
A user can see all trails at one map. Up to hundreds of tracks can be shown simultaneously. Progressive track loading was implemented to achieve this result: less points are used for smaller zoom levels, without any precision loss.

Trail page has all required information (and even more). There is an interactive map showing a point from the height map onto the Google Map.
